This story hasn't been covered much by the big news media, but it happened in CT. A police officer was going 94 mph in a 40 mph zone with no lights and he was not responding to a call. He hit two kids in a car and they both died. Now he is charged with manslaughter. What do you guys think about this?
My first instinct is too defend the officer because i think the police get smeared alot by the media. But there really is not defense for his actions, he wasn't responding to a call or anything, just speeding recklessly down the road. |

Am item similar to this happened here in southwestern Indiana with a state trooper hitting a killing a man who was driving another car, a few years back. I believe that the trooper was traveling at over 110 mph in a 55 mph zone. With out blue lights etc. He lost his job, and I think he go a few years in jail for the manslaughter charge. __________________ Carl Carick

I think it is horrible, but it seems like the more I look into it, the more times I realize that this has happened. It's not just one isolated event. |

this is the first time i am hearing something like this. not sure why the police is not responding to the media. the police deserves to get life imprisonment. |
