Does anyone have testimonials that I could use on website or marketing material until I get my first transaction.

i think it is good to check testimonials before you do any business with an website. there are many scams in the web and that is the reason why you should do a research before using an website.

There is an abundant amount of marking material available. You just have to look for it. Also a testimonial is only good from YOUR customers not from someone else.

Yea, I think you could get is some trouble from your local BBB if they found out you weren't using actual testimonials from your customers as that would be falsifying information. Something that you definitely should not start your business off with. There are many other ways to start your business on a good foot than using testimonials other than your own.

yes, don't start off your business with a bad reputation. if you use testimonials from other websites (for your websites), then you may face legal troubles who knows.

You can't share a testimonial!  A testimonial has to be about you and your services.  Not someone else.

Yes, not only could you get in trouble from the business you stole it from but you could get in trouble from the individual that said the testimonial as they would get you for saying they did not say that for your company and you were using the property of the individual and the company in a way that they did not permit.

If you are looking for good testimonials for your own business, then setup on Angie's List and suggest that your customers go here to put in their experience about your business.
